Cool retro table
|
Looks like a precursor to the 'sew-ez' tables currently on the market. Maybe it is????

That is a cool one. There's one like that on my local CL for much higher than that price and it's been there for several months. The rounded style probably was made for a certain brand of machine. There are more generic ones too. I have a rectangular generic free arm one and one made for either a flat bed machine or a serger that has a little drawer on the left side.

maybe it is because I grew up looking at that style stuff, but I find it actually painful to the eyes.... I know some folks LOVE it and I harbor no ill will towards them but shudder....

at one time the sally army's where flooded with those. I'd just shake my head.
Now I'd like to find one, Aaaaaaaaaaa Butt ... I'd turn it into a shooting bench .. |
It's an Elna machine table. I want one!

I love the look of this table.

I have 1 of each of those.

I had a similar table like Joe posted for my Viking and one for the serge - I used it a lot, and after a bit the brackets holding the front leg started to bend and it ended up with a noticeable downward slope. So I bought a cheap icky one and traded the legs and got several more years out of it.
I would say not stable if you are bench rest shooting, but OK if you just want a shooting stand and aren't testing loads or something where you need to make sure the gun is not moving around on you. |
