I'm small time. Only 10 machines between my daughter and me.
Singer 648, 620, 101, 99x2, 66, 27 Montgomery Wards Brunswick Rodney 15 clone The Brunswick has been in storage for 5 years. I forgot we had it until recently. It's a VS machine and needs new wiring, I'll get to it after a few other projects are finished. Rodney |

I'm glad to see my 30 machines are way out numbered. You guys are crazier than me. ;> My thoughts exactly!!!!! |
my DH reads on this board all the time - in fact he's the one that showed it to me. But I've been married for over 30 years, so he's not going to be shocked by anything I post - he knows me too well !!
Besides, about 1/3 of the machines are his. And it's almost all HIS machines that we need to sell, as he bought ones because they were cheap and not for any other reason. |
MacyBaby, sorry you 2 decided not to build the museum. Maybe you could get a grant for it. ;)

Oh, I fear I am small time too, but I'm in love with what I have:
All Singers with pretty decals: 99 redeye 66 15-91 301a 3 Black Featherweights 1White Featherweight Treadle Phoenix 27 66 Lotus Hand Crank Singer toy #20 Hand Crank Singer toy Singer Electric (1950 or 60ish) Also: Computerized Janome 6600P Memory Craft and Janome Memory Craft 350E Embroidery Machine also gave away already a Sharp Computerized machine and a 60's Kenmore with cams I sew on all of them but the "toy's" Loved bringing all the "vintage" ones back to operation. (All because of this board) |
I cannot even being to think about listing what machines I have--everyone who comes around to my sewing room looks with big eyes at machines that I have scattered all over everywhere. I can't turn down a $10 machine no matter how hard I try. Some of them are fixed up and running, depending on the amount of time I was willing to take away from my quilting chores at the time it was added to the collection, some are still in questionable shape until I can get "a round to it".....and I have my favorite two that I use all the time; a FW, and my Gammill LA, and oh yeah, my Elna that is my most favorite of all of them which I use exclusively for proper sewing efforts; no quilting.

Cathy, I think your display is great. It looks classy and un-cluttered.
