Good deal then,, I knew they had to have been asking in the 100$ range. today it seems most these estate sales are professionaly ran and over priced...

This last winter at an estate sale I did buy a 1926 treadle ( singer),, fri , sat the tag was $125 which was nuts, showed up an hour early, had 62.50 in one pocket ... I grab the machine wheel it to the check out, take off the tag !!!!!!!!!! and it's marked $175. LOLOLOL....next time I will be taking photo's showing the marked price with a date.. There was a few other things marked higher also...

They go high here in FL. for treadles. I got good prices because people running the estate sales are friends and Gary tends to make sure I get what I want. I have seen some in awful, really awful condition that they are asking hundreds for, and 211's are $250 and way up. Unless I find a good FW I am through collecting as I have no more room. Oh well.
I got a Singer from 80's with the disks for $50. and a nice table.
Congradulations and enjoy.

Enjoy the machine and the fact that you got it for 1/2 price...which is probably what I would have paid for it. I think you got a pretty machine at a good price.

White is one of the oldest sewing machine companies around. So that is not a 'clone' of anything. Unless ya'll know of a company that got away with calling a clone a White. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Yes, it IS a model 15 clone. Google and do some research.

Good for you! I paid $30 for my blue clone from Japan but it didn't come with a cabinet. You did good.
