Cute clone! How much to pay?

There is an estate sale going on now - this White is pictured in a nice cabinet, buttonholer is sitting behind the machine. What would be a good range? Some of the prices around here at thrift shops run from 30 to 100. It just looks so clean and fun to use. Advice?

I try to keep most purchases below $50, unless it is unusual, or a diamond in the rough.

The cabinet looks nice, and I dig the color, so if it worked, I would probably go for it as long as it didn't have the usual estate sale pricing. The buttonholer doesn't add much value, though.

I've found estate sale pricing is rather high(at least in my area). I've been amazed at the prices they ask lately. You may not find that it's priced reasonably. You can always give them an offer. It's worth what you're willing to spend.

well with knowing the asking price, pay between 350 to zero..

what if there asking 45 and people here say pay 60 ?? Hmmmmm

I'd have to guess they want over $150 for that ,,

my top would be at $45. It does look real nice, the color is great so on..

upside is it is 15 clone and one of the few whites tht used a motor handwheel belt drive sytem

I would want to try it out. Is the tension spring good? Are the cords good from the motor and the foot? What kind of needles does it take and how easy are they to find? Is the bobbin and the bobbin case there? Most trips to the machine repair guy will be 50-100 dollars if it has problems. If it is perfect working order and everything is there I would buy it for $50.

Totally agree with Tartan's advice on this and the price she quoted. That said, I love the machine's color and would want to add that to my collection.

Love the color. Such a pretty machine.

Whatever they are asking because it is so cute!

It's just a common 15 clone, although it is beautiful. Does it need the cords replaced? Is the bobbin case there? I wouldn't pay more than $20 in any case as they are so common around here. Other areas may be different.

Yay! Sunday is 1/2 price day so it's mine!! Instruction book, extra bobbins, thread spools, Singer buttonholer, and the accessories tin (altho only the zipper foot is in the tin). The cabinet is in very good condition. It does need a belt. Paid a smidge under $50 for her.
