Here is are pictures of my 15 clone. It says "Electro-Grand" on the machine and the manual, but the underside is clearly marked "Brother". The attachments (very few) were in a Brother box. The warranty in the manual shows the machine was originally purchased April 7, 1953.

Oooooo, a nice purty blue machine. :)

I'm kind of jealous though as none of my machines has a receipt of purchase. I think one maybe two have warranty cards.

The Model 12 was made in 1870-1871 so it is 147 years old...it makes a nice stitch too...

I made the promised new thread - one for just straight stitch and zig zag and one for fancy stitch Japanese machines - Joe and I can't be the only ones out there with Japanese machines.

I am going through my Excel file and realizing that I need to do some more updating of information on my ZZ machines.

take your time Caroline - it took me six months to just take pics whether the machines work or not. I have a hard time taking pictures of machines that don't work and showing them off...

Hard to do Miriam. I am a bit OCD/ADD, that is why I am up so early this morning.

There is not a JA number on this machine. Lightly embossed on the casting underneath is a Large "V" with a smaller "T" it.
