Eldredge American Waltham Brunswick Treadle
 

Does anyone have any information or can point me in a direction on where I could possibly find a manual or video on how to thread the bobbin, what size needles...guess any information on a Eldredge American Waltham Brunswick Treadle? I tried to upload pictures but that isn't working for some reason. I recently found a sewing machine that is the exact replica but I can't find much information on how to use. It's a Brunswick Ward. Not a Eldredge American Waltham Brunswick. Sorry about that. Any direction would be appreciated in finding information about this make.

As for posting pictures my response is - We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.

I don't know if Jon has any needles, but he is the one to see if he has any 20x1 needles. There are several ways to contact him as he has several places on the web.

There is a video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kf4EdcMx0eE It is not the same machine, but is similar as to the threading of your machine. There should be a notch on the back side of the screw and you want to pass the thread behind the screw through the notch to the underside so that it goes between the two springs and then as seen in the video. The piece on the faceplate is in a different location but is threaded the similarly.

As for winding the bobbin, it is quite similar to the instructions for the Burdick as seen at https://www.sil.si.edu/DigitalCollec...ges/image6.htm You will want to bring the thread behind the bobbin winder and through the notches/thread guides as shown.
