A Gift 401A Singer

A gal at church told me she was given this machine by her sewing neighbor. My friend does not sew and said I could just have her if I come and pick her up. I offered to come and teach her to sew and quilt but she said "not my thing".
Meet Bobbi Sue, my newest machine. She's kind of locked up for the moment, the electrical works fine, and I did a light clean up on the outside. The cabinet has water glass stains on the top, but I don't care as she'll be open for work. I'm so excited. After I get her moving I'll take her for a spa day at my maintenance man's. I'm feeling loved and happy today. And I will be making her a quilt on this machine, with a Horse theme as that is her passion. |

I have this machine and love it. My moms machine broke so I loaned it to her and she loves it and has no plans to return it anytime soon, she uses it every day, so I am in the market for another. You are so lucky, fantastic machine.

Nice machine. I found one at a thrift shop and the folks on here helped me get it unstuck. It was quite the challenge but I'm happy I did it.

Those can take a lot of work to get everything to move right.

Great find, a real workhorse, haven't found mine yet.

It is good that she found a home where she will be well loved and taken care of. Enjoy!
