I've also never seen OG used for "original" . . . but then I'm not on may "collecting" boards, mostly just folks hanging out. Though I do know some of the others because my husband was an auto mechanic for many years. Maybe they are more common with the Automotive industry.

I use to post on one board with mostly retired folks, and one day I forgot and wrote DH and then had to explain what that stood for.

Hmm - maybe some of this is an age thing, and us older folks that weren't around before Twitter and Facebook just don't know all the abbreviations. I require my daughter to translate her text messages quite often.
