Bemoreonline- are you aware it's a 3/4 size machine? you'll be able to peice, but if you are doing quilting, it has a very small throat.
Not trying to talk you out of it or anything, but I've got several full size treadle machines, and I know a guy that is going to be making a trip (I believe in June) and may be willing to pony this to me and a larger one to you. Ok- I need to stop lusting after someone else's machine LOL! |
My Hexagon is a hand crank machine, X12306. The manual is dated 1919. The price in 2009 was 25 GBP........which means it was shipped from the UK. It takes normal low-shank feet and 15x1 needles, and sews nicely. The decals are what had me looking for this one, as geometric shapes are very appealing (also collect mineral specimens).
Have fun with your Hexagon! Dianne in Colorado |
I also have a hand crank Hexagon, love it. Unfortunately I don't use it as often as I should. You should have fun with it, enjoy.
