Don't know if this helps or not (I have the attachment book also - print and ebook.) This is from on line somewhere plus most of the manuals have instructions - unless that's whats confusing you!

Oh - loved the links posted - I've never seen a scalloped hem before.

It helped me to know that you can NOT start exactly at the corner. Finger press a bit, sew an inch or so, then wiggle the fabric into the corkscrew. After that, practice, and more practice.
Oh, and the other thing I found helpful for learning was stiff, thinish fabric. I starched the heck out of pieces from my scrap bag and used those until I got the hang of it. |
