This Chainstitch machine was made in Germany (estimated to be around 1890, but no documentation)

There are only 4 known to exist still, so I got the OK to share.

Actually, I have , Steve. I saw one, live, in Nashville, at the 2011 ISMACS convention. It was in original condition and categorized as

Very Nice
. It was owned by Maggie Snell and sold for $15,000 in the auction. It is called Sandt Princess. It is considered a toy machine. Designed by Max Sandt and manufactured by Stienfeld & Blasberg in Germany.

The other machine designed is that of a clown and is even more rare. My understanding is that there were as few as 2 made.
