yep, it says "Florence 3" on it. There is a slight turn of the tip on this needle that I will need to fix, but then all I need to do is free up the stitch selector and she'll be ready to try out.

Success!!!!

The most unique slide plate I've seen so far. the bed plate edges have two sided bevels like this...

so I needed to make a slide like this.

I managed to pattern and cut two mirrored plates in 18 ga,
I beveled the under side of the top edge at a 45 deg angle
I beveled the top edge of the bottom one at a 45 deg angle.
I spread the thinnest possible layer of JB weld on one side
Positioned the the two together and clamped overnight and all day.
Unclamped and using a cheap diamond V file cleaned and adjusted the mating edges.
Now to clean up the back and adjust the front curve a tad...

(Done in Brass so there can be NO chance of someone faking it as original in the future)
