Hi Amelia...I live in Canada. I still haven't figured out how to thread the bobbing properly. I think maybe something is missing on mine. I've looked hi and low for detailed pictures on the web of the "bobbin case", but they look slightly different that mine. If you do get around to some more pictures...can you take one of the bobbin area and how you have been threading it!

Are you still looking for an instruction book for this machine? I just bought one (it hasn't been delivered yet) and it has the instruction book.

One of these just sold on GW for 460.00. Don't know if this is good or bad. Never had saw one before so kept an eye on it.

I thought that, too but all that plastic is in strange places!!!

It kind of looks to me as if the plastic/nylon parts are located anyplace that on a metal machine you would oil. This must be one of the machines that does not provide oiling locations or instructions other than have it serviced.

My Juki TL2010Q has about as many oil locations as my vintage machines and I believe is primarily aluminum, so it is quite different from this machine
