I still don't know what this is, it was in the drawer of my treadle:

I found vintage photos of loggers. One with only one leg and a giant tree they fell. Also a social security card and some paper clippings from my 108 yr old treadle. Very cool find!

This isn't really a crazy find - it's a cool find:

That's interesting Miriam.

CD in Oklahoma

I should frame it and hang it on the wall.

Argh! But they didn't answer for the zig-zag! I suspect it may have been for a non ZZ machine. I have found that lowering the tension number by 1 or 2 is necessary, or the fabric will bunch and end up with a ridge.

It was in a FW case to be exact.

I think I better get the poker chips & cards out of my treadle drawers.

I was inspired to clean out 2 drawers of my Standard treadle so I could have a place to keep the attachments for my New Home green Godzilla Greyhound. 3 mostly decks of cards, a Garfield War deck, box of poker chips, misc. other poker chips, 2 black & 1 red checkers, googly eyes, an agate worry stone, odd bits & very old sparklers - now where am I going to put this stuff?

This wasn't found actually IN a sewing machine but as part of the haul of several machines and parts. I spent a good amount of time cleaning it up thinking I have a unique free-motion foot. It's a gun site for a buckhorn rifle.
