Oh boy! Are you lucky. And the care they had to go through to cut all those hex's by hand with old scissors. Just lovely quilts aren't they? Their fingers would just be so sore and tough too. My MIL did all of that and I have quilts she made. If I could only learn to put pictures on here.LOL

Such precious treasures you have rediscovered! Those quilts are marvelous! And the photo of your 4 generations is beyond wonderful! Yup! I'd say quilting is in your blood! You can see at a glance how much resemblance your M, GM, & GGM all have too. Thank you for sharing!

These are really pretty quilts, you are lucky to have them -- I grew up with no grandmothers and no quilts. Both Gma's were gone soon after I was born. Don't know where I get my love of sewing from, but am so glad I have it.
