Don't know about the machines in the moldy cases. We set them out in the open while we dug through the disaster looking for specific things we needed at the new house. Couldn't find everything we needed and couldn't get half of what we went for in the Pathfinder.

There are lots of self ways on the internet, and no, even though bleach will kill the aids virus it does nothing for mold. I bought this spray from Home Depot, it not only gets rid of it but prevents if from coming back. I sprayed the walls, let it dry and wiped down the white ash and repeated a few times. Then I did one last spray before sheet rocking was replaced.

I'm no expert! That being said, I am an expert on what flares my ashthma and puts me into respiratory arrest! So, although the Lysol is do doubt a good product, we don't keep Lysol or anything similar in our house. Air Freshner sprays just don't exist in my house! Wish I had a magic answer, Joe, but I don't! I hope you find one -- it sounds like you may have remedies offered, so I'll just wish you the best!

I don't have any good answers. I would try the peroxide or borax. They're probably less likely to damage the coverins on the cases.
