How lucky you are. I have my 301 slant needle when they first came out in 1952. I was a new registered nurse and this Singer was my very first purchase. Over the years she has sewn wing covers and engine covers for our light aircraft here in Alaska for use during the cold winter months when not in use. They do not make machines like this anymore. I love the older machines. I recently purchased a Spartan and it's like new. You have a great sewing room compared to the small one I have. Have a great time "stitching" with your beautiful "301"...

I am so in love with 301's. I have a two-tone one, and a mocha colored one--and I want a black one SO BAD! Yours is BEAUTIFUL!! I'm so jealous!

Thanks everyone for the replys about my machine & room
This room took a while to organize because in my home in Ohio<before moving back here, I had a room 20 x 30....sooo it's been a challenge...but now have one room for sewing & another for my home office area....seems to be working fine... and I am happy that we are back in our home town around family...adding a couple more pictures of sewing room the pillows for my schnauzer [ATTACH=CONFIG]196366[/ATTACH] kitchen island cutting table [ATTACH=CONFIG]196367[/ATTACH] under the flannel wall is closet flannel rolls up when not in use [ATTACH=CONFIG]196368[/ATTACH] |
