I got my 1905 Singer treadle back and was really excited. I decided I was going to use it today for the first time. No such luck because I can't get it threaded right. Does anyone out there have a diagram they would be willing to share on threading this machine.

This may not help...but on my FW you thread the needle from the inside out not front to back. Be sure your needle has the flat side facing out (to the left).

It might help if you tell us what model machine you have. Most of the manuals are available (free) on the Singer site, and they include threading instructions.

i finally got thru to the singer site & found out that my machineis a model 66"born" in 1909,not 1920.the only manual they had was $15.00,but it is spiral bound,i'm really happy about that,i was going to have it bound as soon as it came anyway.no shipping,& the 5.00 to be bound,i don't think the price was too high.anyway,i'll be so happy to get it so i can FINALLY try it out!
