your problem with pink is?

It sure would be worth a try to put a Singer 66 spoked wheel on it. I think a hand crank might fit, too. I don't think you have to do anything for a belt guard. It appears to be built in and spaced ok. I don't know if the spoked wheels will interchange on the Japanese machines. I suspect it would. One I had did work. (I have a New Home does not interchange with Singer hand wheels. grrr. )

Yes they do! I love my Pinky! Great machine but very heavy. I'm glad you're going to get your own Pinky!

Thanks, Miriam. A Singer 66 spoked wheel would make sense, because it looks like a 3/4 size machine. What I have on hand for now is a Singer 15 spoked wheel. I will try it and let you know how it turn. It`s worth a try. Otherwise I will simply put the sewing machine in a closet and wait for my daughter to be a bit older.

Wow, very nice. More "squared" shape than the Mercury.

A Singer 15 spoked wheel may or may not be the same depth - they vary in size. You can try it - if it fits go for it.

The depth of the Singer 15 spoked wheel or the depth of the Japanese clone wheel?
