ME became a part of my life through my eldest sister. I have always loved her sayings and linked pics. The calendars have allowed me to be creative and philosophical. Rather soothing to cut out sayings and flowers after a stressfilled day teaching.

Suitcases as quilt storage? What a terrific idea!!!

This is a really great idea. I'm starting to think about customizing my featherweight case, its so boring just black. It could use some colour and I think it would be cool to incorporate my initials in there somewhere.

So, I got out my favorite Mary Engelbreit calendar pics and sayings. My DH gives me one of these every Christmas and my class enjoys discovering the message for each day. A bit of trimming, thinned glue and they were quickly decoupaged onto the case, hiding the ugly red letters and missing paper covering.

Just food for thought with these aging cases. Our machines deserve cases as beautiful as they are!
