I see CL ads constantly for rusted, dirty, frozen machines. But, that means it is OLD and therefore worth a lot, right?????

Now, surely a grandma wouldn't argue that age doesn't increase value? :)

Don't forget Mr. Helpful: This is my Grandmother's sewing machine. The machine is in excellent condition, was serviced and ran perfectly right before Grandma went to the nursing home. We have had the machine in the storage locker 16 years. All it needs is oil and you'll be sewing! 500.00 firm.

:) my husband is the pseudo expert/ sells for this on ebay type. (He parts out old computers- and we all know how fast computers change. ) and when our roommate brought home my only machine, a 15-91 from a job site (he fixes old houses up)- he went right on ebay and told me how much the machine was worth and didn't I want to sell it.... umm. No. :)
