The shiny black hearse - chrome heavy nose

I have an old Raico machine that is shiny and black with a heavy chrome front end. It is gorgeous. But it reminds me of a hearse....

Chrome nose doesn't show up well when I do a picture - maybe someone knows how to make it shiny in the pictures - here it is blinding some times.

Do you think it looks like a hearse?

A couple years ago some of us decorated our machines up for halloween...
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t164335.html It was fun. I don't know if anybody else wants to decorate or not...

The Raico seems to be a very nicely made machine... and it sews very nice. It is just a straight stitch with chrome on the nose, slide plate, light switches, stitch length and feed dog drop, etc.

Cute idea. I don't think I am creative in that way to think of anything.

Miriam it does look like a giant black Cadillac (in a good way).

I also like the look of the 301, but I've always thought it looked like a casket, or a machine that Morticia Addams would have sewn on.

Neat looking machine, Is that long nose only decorative or is there something in there?

The light is under the chrome along with all the regular works. I think the light needs an LED - no air vent at all. The light switch is on the front. This, like a caddy is powerful. Morticia Addams would want the decals off...

That's pretty neat in it's own right. It has to be one of the first examples of moving the light up front when most machines still had them mounted on the arm.
