Singer 221 metal bobbins

I just got a 221....there is only one bobbin with it. Can any of you direct me to where I can buy more?
TIA,
Deanna (Cottage Dee)

I think it uses a regular class 66 bobbin. You can find those just about anywhere--even WalMart.

Order them on line , google ///// singer 221 featherweight and you'll find plenty of suppliers

The Featherweights do not use Class 66 bobbins. They use the 221/301 bobbins and you can get them at Sew-Classic:

Don't buy bobbins at WM. They're junk. Do what Joe says.

My local Hancocks sells Featherweight bobbins. I just recently discovered this.

Thanks, Joe, I'm taking your advice!

I would say do what Joe says. Maybe the fact that it worked with mine was just a fluke, but I didn't have any problems! He knows way more about these things than I ever will, for sure!

MimiBug123,

Now I'm curious. Since the 221 bobbin is larger in diameter and skinnier than a Class 66 bobbin I would have never thought the 66 would fit let alone work. I gotta check my FW out with a 66 just to see what happens.

Joe
