Small machine or giant buttonholer?

This is from Craigslist. Is it an optical illusion, or a window-display sized buttonholer case, or a very small machine? (Typical CL picture of the back, argh)

Sheila,

Those Singer button holer eggs are pretty big. That plus the machine to rear and it makes the machine look small.
I think that would be a Wheeler & Wilson D8 full sized machine.

Joe

Thank you, Joe.

Doesn't the picture look like it was taken at the bottom of a well?

chuckle... I didn't see that before but you're right. One of the stones on the right looks curved. But it's a stone wall. More pictures in the ad: http://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/gms/3945049930.html

Steve, I googled the machines and they are not close at all, according to this page:
http://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/an...wheelerwilson/

But Joe, I'm still impressed that you got the manufacturer right -- I didn't have a clue. I'm learning...slowly.

Steve,
Thanks for correcting my error. I knew better but am so full of pain drugs that my brain isn't working right. That's why I'm not posting much right now.

Sheluma,
I have two Singer 9W-7s. The Singer made version of the W&W D9. That's why I recognized it. Just typo'd the response.

Joe, I figured it was a typo since the machines are so different. Now I gotta check out the 9w.
Hope ya get well soon

Dude! we're just glad to have you back. We'll take what we can git. I only typed a correction because of the number of folks who read and swear by what they get here.

Those Button Hole eggs are big. Just got one with an old singer. Hmmm wonder if there is a cool way to repurpose the egg? Very retro.
