You know, I didn't even notice that it said 'electric' on it....I noticed that there was no motor, and it had a spoked hand wheel.:o

tenngal - not sure on the date. I haven't tried to date any of our New Home machines by serial number yet. I'm also not sure when New Home promoted their greyhound symbol from its minor place with their 'Light Running' logo to a brand of its own. The fact that this one boldy states that it's a Greyhound Electric probably means it's on the later end, though. It was still manufactured in Massachusetts so it was before the buyout and move to Illinois.
