Mrs Janey, I have printed every piece of information you have sent me. Thank you so much! My Daddy came over this afternoon and we went through the drawers. We sorted buttons, threads and played with all of it! He remembers some of the buttons from her dresses. We found a black metal box of attachments. He is going to help me work on the cabinet repairs when the weather cools off. I just wanted to thank you again for all of your help!

Michele, you are very welcome. I really like seeing people appreciate these old machine and bringing them back. When it is a machine they have inherited, makes it all the more special.

Looks like the attachments are older than what I am familiar with. I hope you are able to try them out.

My brother & I restored the treadle that my sister learned to sew on for her. I wish I was closer so I could help her restore her Minnihaha (unsure whether it is a National or Standard) that she inherited from a great aunt. I was only able to see it from the underside when I took "her" treadle to her.

No Ma’am. No needles anywhere. We found 3 of the bobbins. It’s a good thing 2 of them had thread or I might not have known what they are!

There is a machine on Topeka Craigslist right now that has Mason Irons and a Mason Rotary mchine in it. Funny, it has a wooden insert for the White T-shirt. Looks just like my older White rotaries, except for the t-shirt and decals.

Hmm T-shirt is a bobbin cover that has a similar shape to a T-shirt. I guess I don't have a pic handy.

The needles may be in a wooden tube shaped container, which is similar to a tube of Chap Stick. I have also found needles in a similarly shaped item that I think was for some kind of pills.

Yes, she was very happy with the machine. She doesn't sew on it as much as she would like, but sure enjoys it, when she does.

Hand sewing needles have the eye at the top. Machine needles eyes are near the point. and may have a flat side on the other end.
