now that is interesting...seems like a bargain, until you actually LOOK at the machine...even the badge says sew-in...how odd... |

It's just faded-or more likely, cleaned. The one on the bed is rubbed off from lots of sewing, but the only times I've ever seen silvered pillar/arm decals has involved chemicals, not sunshine.

That is interesting. Could it be a clone???? I doubt that Singer would remove its name and logo from their sewing machines. I am going to re-read my Featherweight 221 book and see if the author mentions this machine.

not exactly why you chose to say "home schooling at its best", but that machine was not meant for that table and it shows terribly! |
your not >>sure<< why. there did the research but have quite a yrs span on what yr it is, but there sure it was made before we had 110 AC m guess you know when elec power was first used in the uSA it was DC,, even more they are afraid to plug that in because it still has a DC motor, crap every sewing machine has a DC motor on it ??
look at your own motors they'll will say DC or ac / DC which tells us they will run on eiether.. early home generators where DC each and every one of us are Home schooled This is way to much home schooling on sewing machines Buzzing in her Brain |
