Sure is a cutie, I just couldn't pay that much. I wonder how rare it really is?

auntpiggylpn 02-21-2012 08:09 PM

$300?? and the carrying case is in bad shape and you don't even get the table with it???? But on the upside, they did just put on a new belt and ordered a replacement manual!

jaciqltznok 02-21-2012 08:16 PM

jaciqltznok 02-21-2012 08:21 PM

wish I could get my sister to run over from Biloxi, MS and pick this one up!

Caroline S 02-21-2012 09:21 PM

This would be a fun machine for someone in Orange County, CA. Too much $$ in shipping for me. But I sure would like to add this two tone beauty to my collection.

He has been trying to sell this machine along with many others for the past two years. I don't think he has sold a thing.

I wonder if they hang up on someone of they asked for the name of the appraiser. I wouldn't pay $5 for it.

miriam 02-22-2012 02:59 PM

maybe it was a TAX appraiser and they got taxed on that amount or something from an estate?

I wouldn't buy from someone that's lying through his/her teeth, considering that the machine is a Redeye 66, the 1890 date is about 20 years out of line. Not to mention that what's incredible is the nasty condition of that cabinet!!

Because on this one the slide plate is missing... I enlarged the photos, it's gone.

OH MY.....I laughed hard on that one....why don't they go on ebay and just SEE for themselves what they are selling for! Or go to a local machine shop and get it cleaned, and appraised??
I just don't get it...

janeite 02-27-2012 03:50 AM

They must think the table is worth $700!
