Three featherweight cabinets on ebay now, variety of prices. Seen a few on there lately but don't think any have sold but nice to look at. Mine must be worth a mint compared to some of them but ain't parting with it.

"NO SCRAPPERS I CAN DO THAT MYSELF." I think that's all that's left for this poor old machine. If you dunked it in a tub of Evaporust, it would disappear!

The local scrap yard gives about 15 cents a pound. Times 25~ pounds of sewing machine is $3.75. I doubt it's worth that!

and why does he think he can get $75 for this poor old thing? Guess he doesn't know how much he would get if he scrapped it himself.

I would love to know if they get the prices...I am thinking of getting rid of one of min that is in mint condition...I doubt very much they are getting over 100.00.

Good grief! I finally sold my old 290c. That machine was so allergic to heavy duty work, it started sneezing if I approached it with a fresh needle.
