What happened to the rest of the poor machine after it's legs were amputated? Definitely a mutilation of an uncommon machine.

Beautiful antique...very very nice statement and conversation piece.Came from 123 year old house, and is in exceptional condition. That Margarette or how ever you spell it IS uncommon. I have the legs for one - it was a fiddle base head - I can tell that from the 'foot' print in the cabinet. It was already decapitated when I got it. BUT I tried to look it up and came up with nothing.
