Not 1864! D series as best I could tell from the poor pic of the serial number. It was produced 1908-1909.

Plus not even sure it works?????

Show it to us and we'll give you a good estimate. We are knowledgeable and honest to begin with, which most of the people who ask sky high $$$ are not knowledgeable.

You'd think at that price a machine WOULD come with it!!!!

I needed a front entry table - something to display my hand crank 15 w/ the gingerbread design. I bought a table like that, only the base is from a Minnesota B, for $40 at an antique/craft co-op. Which is funny because I got the Miinesota for free and could have taken the irons then, but I didn't think I would have a use for them.

I have her listed for sale on this board at http://www.quiltingboard.com/items-s...ml#post5055893 and there are lots of pictures on there of her. I would love to get an honest opinion of her, but didn't know where to start

Thanks!

Ashley, that's a cute little machine. Was it serviced lately? The price is higher than I would pay. Others here can give you a better estimate on price than I.

Ashley, Ditto with Quilt Mom. You also don't say whether or not she has any accessories and if the thread pictured comes with her. I hope we're helping you.
Chris

Thank you both. I am updating my ad. My husband found the machine and bought it for me. It runs great and I went to take it apart and clean it, and it didn't need it. I wiped it down and oiled it and am trying to get the musty smell out of the case. I'll keep it if I can't get *his* money back but I don't need it and I'd rather it find a good home.

Seems high to me, but I know nothing about the early industrials.
