Aw Weedwoman....I am sure that your husband is a smart man and will see the beauty in your new acquisitions. You haven’t replaced the stove or refrigerator with a sewing machine yet, have you? LOL.

There's a couple pea sized paint chips on the bed that I am not sure what I should do with them...Should I fill them in with an enamel paint or leave them?

Any suggestions?

Leave it alone that is a rare pattern to have for that machine and you dont want to harm the integrity of the machine. You did a wonderful job and you should be very proud of your machine!!

Billy, thanks for the complement and advice. Without you and all the others who take the time to answer posts, I would never been able to do it. The first machine I disassembled, I spent a lot of time going to the computer, looking at your tut pictures to make sure I had the screws in the right places, this one was much, much easier. I think my next adventure is to try painting a hot rod machine… :-D
Do you think that I could get satisfactory results with a spray paint application?

Weedwoman, I found mine on ebay for $10. According to the information I read from Ismacs you want a shuttle with a notch at the pointed end.

Hope this link helps. It's a beautiful machine and the decals look great!!

Anyone know what kind of machine this is? I'm tempted to buy it sight unseen because it's so cheap and so PINK:>
