Charlee, Congrats on your soon to arrive 301, she looks beautiful!!

Charlee 07-02-2012 08:23 AM

Thanks! :)

Candace, it shouldn't be a problem...it's HIS family reunion, and since they're all going out to do some ocean fishing, and I don't do boats, I'll have some time to play! :)

This is my first 301....I don't think I've ever actually laid eyes on one before, and if I did, it was before I knew what I was looking at. I do know they've gone way up in price in these parts, and I was tickled pink to find one with all the goodies and in a case for the price I'm getting it for!

There was one on the local Craig's list a couple of weeks ago, they wanted $100, but it was in a cabinet with no extras at all...this one is a much better deal for me! :)

Regina Welcome! Those Singer 15-91 are excellent machines to use for sewing clothes as well as making quilts from start to finish. Thanks for posting and sharing a photo of your pretty quilt along side your very handsome Singer.

Charlee, Congrats on the 301! I'm looking forward to seeing your first project from her.

Congrats, Charlee. I got mine several years ago, and I didn't know it was a deal, or anything about it. Just called my name. Mine is in a cabinet. After I read about how strong it was, I made a denim quilt to see if it lived up to the hype. It did.

Charlee,
Congradulations on your new machine. I'm happy for you. You'll have to tell us all about it and share pictures too.

I was about 3 days late on reading the posts. I've been on this sight for way too long. Like hours? Hubby called from work to tell me to pick up a few box fans at the Hdwr store. Temperature here is 88 degrees and climbing. For us Northern Exposure people(extreem NW Minnesota) this is hot. Humidity is high and that means weather watches for us all the rest of this week.

We live on a farm and town is 7 mi away. Just my luck all the fans are sold out. Would you believe the fans are for the livestock? LOL Some people think we're nuts, but I lost my bottle lamb yesterday @ 95 degrees, to heat stroke. I couldn't believe it. I'm still crying.

Love to all,
Claudia

Claudia, Get on Amazon or another mailing site to order your fans. Have UPS or FedX Deliver them to you.

Oh Claudia, that's so sad about your lamb!! I know how attached you can get to a bottle baby... :( ~hug~

I've seen farmers/ranchers run sprinklers in their animal pens when it's hot to allow the animals to cool...would that work until you can get fans?

Welcome Regina. What a beautiful cabinet and 15-91.

Wow, Katherine is beautiful too, Charlee!

My thanks to all on my VF. I will post pictures when I can get it cleaned up.
Next time I will shop in the daylight. It is missing a lot. I just could not believe I really found on.
