This is my only treadle. It is a Singer 9w 1905-1910 I bought it this month for $30 from a neighbor, it belonged to her grandmother. I am in the process of cleaning it up and trying to put a new belt on it.

I think you have a typo. I believe that is a Singer 285 next to the 301, isn't it?

YES, I sure do. I couldn't get back to edit after I did noticed it. Sorry. I did see it but it was to late.

Hey, You're ThayerRags! Welcome and THANK YOU!
I spent hours one night studying all your machine pictures that you posted on your site. Your site is great! Very helpful to use in identifying machines and then go from there to locate more info. Okay, I'm a vintage sewing machine geek.

A link to your site for those that have never discovered it:

Thanks again! :)

Earthwalker, I am sure we used the Pinnock machine when I was at Oakbank Area School (Sth Aust) in late fifties, and your treadle looks very like the one my grandad gave me, (which also needs some t.l.c.). Its mega cold here in Adelaide hills today.

Lets keep the conversations to the main VSMS thread and keep the photos flowing!

Is the golden in the picture the one in you Avatar? Beautiful dog. My golden always is by my side like that when I am sewing too. I call her my Sewing Supervisor.
