Thank you for the information. I have sent an email to Jenny but she is away. Hopefully she will be back soon and we can chat. Once I have the machine in my hands I will probably have more questions. I hope you guys don't mind helping me out!! = )

OK so how about finding a manual for this machine? Any suggestions??

Before you place your order, check out the machine and see if it needs anything else like a belt or cord set. Jenny sells belts for 1/2 the price that I can get them locally. She also sells oil, needles, and bobbins...and if you order $65 or more worth of stuff, it's free shipping. No, I have no association with her other than being a satisfied customer.
The manual miriam posted will likely work although a few dials may be different. If that manual doesn't cover everything you need, there's a vintagejapansewingmachines yahoo group with some other manuals. It also appears that there's a door on the top of your machine for cams but, no, I don't know what cams it would take. I'd do a Google Image search for your machine and sometimes you'll find one very similar and occasionally someone will have posted pics including cams.
Good luck.

That is a beautiful machine. I would buy it. It probably does take a standard 15 bobbin; I think most of the Japanese models have a generic setup which makes it easy to find parts.

Welcome back Kotter......so good to see you back J Miller. Now I can get serious about figuring out how to post pics and find out what my son brought me last week--well two weeks ago now. A 115/66/127. The number is either G5337155 or G5837155. I haven't taken the time to clean it up enough to read it. I thought I didn't have access to your expertise. Now I do. Now what do I do? Besides sitting my lazy self away from this computer and at a table cleaning up an old collectible sewing machine.
