That looks like the reproduction singers of the 70s to me. Something doesn't seem quite right about it.

Looks like a Cast Iron Butterfly from China.

I have one, but it is still residing in California with my son and DIL. I hope to make the trip down there this spring to pick her up. That is one way to make room for more sewing machines, have relatives that are willing to take on the overflow. :D

I’ve got one looking for a new home, and the nice solid wood cabinet that it came in, if you ever get down to southwestern Oklahoma. Several ladies have wanted the cabinet for their Singers, but a Singer won’t fit in it, so I’ll probably have it for a while. I need to get a photo of the cabinet, but here’s a photo of the head.

CD in Oklahoma

Yeah I wish I could get rid of one, too, CD. Here is mine. Still has the tags from when it was new... Weighs in at about 11 lbs. - case weighs more than that... I think there is a pretty cabinet around it might fit - nothing else does... :D:D:D

If I found a featherweight at the right price, I would buy it. I may have to break down and get one anyway. I certainly shouldn't buy another machine of any kind or age as I have more than I can use. Yet, I love them all! I love love love my vintage machines!!! Just don't have a FW yet.

I want to get my Singer Genie back from my sister. I learned how to sew on that machine and she doesn't use it. I also think it would be cool to have a rotary machine of some sort. I have three boxes of attachments for those and nothing to put them with.

I would still like a Singer 99 with a hand crank and a Singer 201 treadle.
