I am using the universal low shank attachments on my Featherweight. They actually came with a Universal Sewing Machine that I bought used in 1963. The walking foot came with a different machine that I had and it works on any low shank machine too.

Here is a picture of the sewing machine. Sorry it took so long, had problems with my computer and had to take pic with my phone and then go into town so I could email the picture back to me (I don't get cell service at my house.) LOL
It look just like my old machinem I'll look and see what attachments I have left. I know a universal walking foot works on it, and some of the other attachment from my New Home work on it. I'll let you know what I have and I can send them to you at no cost.

scrapngmom, I have a manual in PDF format I can send to you.
I found it on line but can't remember how I found it so can't give you a link so you can get it online. If you will PM me with an email address, I will send the file to you.

hello, I just joined this forum because I was looking for information about my Brother xl711. I bought this machine in a Goodwill 25 years ago and it has always worked perfectly except I could not get it to do a straight stitch. It came with all the accessories except for a manual, so Barb if you are still with this forum I would deeply appreciate a copy of that file. I am beginning to believe I have one of the few working xl711 machines left in the world! Cheers, Sharon J.

If they are going to make machines last for 30 years, they ought to keep the records and parts for them, right? LOL
I know this post is couple years old but I'm hoping y'all can help me out.
I found (yes literally found, in a parking lot) a pink Brothers sewing machine, model 220, streamline, with a good housekeeping seal of approval (not sure if that helps or not), she seems to have all her parts, including original carrying case, though i cannot be sure of that because I have not been able to find any info on her. Even from the brothers website. I would love to aquire a copy of an owners manual so that I can test it. Any information or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
