Default remember the beat up featherweight on cl?

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3761020853.html He has dropped the price, and changed the ad. I am pretty sure it is the same one. Thought about emailing him an 'i told you so', but life is too short!

One more : http://charlotte.craigslist.org/hsh/3816044764.html Is this a 301? it surely is pretty. expensive, but pretty.

Now, I shall go be productive. (uh huh)

The tan machine is a 404, slant needle straight stitch.

I just saw the Singer (301) at a local-ish (local being an hour's drive) thrift for $25 dollars, it was missing the bobbin casing and a foot.... This makes me want to go back and get it.

That bobbin case is going to cost a pretty penny.Same as a 221 fw. But the 301 is a great machine.

Was that the one he wanted over $1,000 for? I emailed back and forth with that guy and explained why he would never get that kind of money for his machine. He was very interested in the information I gave him. I found out that it was his grandmother's machine and asked him if there wasn't another family member who would be interested in keeping it and honoring his GM's memory. In the end, he decided to keep the machine, because it was his grandmother's.

It didn't have a case. Just the machine, the pedal and the electrical cord.
