Hi Cathy, saw your post and wondered if you were going to need an addition to the shed already! But it looks pretty big! Have fun with your new acquisitions!
Best

NOO!!! because if you start collecting newer ones, then I may think it's OK to start collecting older ones - and then I will need a second shed!

Cathy: Your and Steve's focus are an example and inspiration for me. I have no self control on my collection. I buy what I like when the opportunity presents itself. Fortunately space and money constraints prevent me from buying everything I like. I've always liked antiques in general, especially furniture but space prevents me from buying every cool cabinet out there and there are a bunch. Carrying cases are more doable and there are some great designs of those as well. I don't have to rule those out. In fact I can even argue a case is necessary to protect the machine. It's not quite the same as self control though.

WOW !! You could open up a museum at your place. Your Singer 24 cabinet looks just like mine but I am missing that center skinny flip down drawer.

Lynnie, I put about 900 miles on the van to get those machines, rarely find them much closer to home. I would not have made the trip for the White or 319, but when the Singer 24 showed up - it was a good opportunity to get all three.

The really nice embossed Singer parlor cabinet came from St. Louis, so even farther away. That one a friend picked up and stored for me until I could get down there.
