Today I met Katrina Stockton, founder of the Sewing History Museum Inc in Wichita, KS. She was hear in Eastern MO to pick up some machines, from a nearby sewing machine friend who sent her my way.
SewingHistoryMuseum.org is the site. And maybe a few of my (former) machines will be on display soon!
If you're nearby you can stop by and then tell us all about it. It's looking like a family road trip for me!

I am aware of at least three other state quilt museum without thinking. Here is a list that I found from a quick Google search. There are enough to keep us oohing and awhing for some time. What a road trip! You may be too far from one but close to others

Witchita is not that far from Tulsa Oklahoma where there is a Vintage Sewing Machine Museum! I'm putting these places both on my Solar Eclipse travel 2024 itinerary. May as well pack a few more things into the trip! Seaching thrifts for VSM stuff along the way. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/...-center-museum
