personally I think the problem is the table. Try putting the machine on a heavier table with the waffle mat underneath, and see. There are some 'portable' type sewing machine tables. Our LQS has one they use. You can always use the folding table to extend the other one. I had trouble with the machine moving, but the waffle shelf liner did the trick for my petal and the machine. I had trouble with a noisy machine and tried a huge mouse pad. It cut down the noise and the movement.

I've already posted that my machines jump around a lot when on my 6' long folding table. But go figure - I put it on a wooden TV table - - - and no jiggling at all. In my opinion it looks like it would be the other way round.
