I'm having mixed feelings about it. They are cute, but who buys them? Are they toys? or for the laugh?
I really hope that wasn't a grandma's machine that no one wanted, so they did this. I hope it was beyond hope of sewing again. I think the lamp is still useful if not weird.

If they're beyond repair I think it's a great idea to give these old machines a new lease on life, even if it's very different one from what they were originally meant for. They are cute.

These are a great example of ingenuity. I think they're brilliant. If I had a machine that didnt work, I'd like it to be repursposed like these.
