Default Should I buy this Pfaff 209?

There's one on my local craigslist for $40. Does anyone know if it is all metal inside? Or are there plastic gears or cams? The open arm would be handy and the multiple stitch zig zag is also nice. Seems like the feed dogs can be dropped also. Plus it has a buttonhole setting which I might use once or twice in my (or its?) lifetime.

I bought a Pfaff 78 and took 6 months to get it working - it was very gummed up.

Thanks, Miriam. The seller said he was an "old singer nerd", so I emailed him to ask if it was all metal inside. He replied and said it was a mix of nylon and metal gears. I'm gonna wait until an all metal free arm comes along. But I went to the guy's website and was pretty impressed with the stuff he makes. I really like the waxed cotton bags and packs.
