My old junk collector guy called me and said he found another sewing machine for me. It is a Singer 101. The case cover is in delapidated state, no electrical cords but comes with a manual and three boxes of attachments. I am thinking that the most I would pay is between $25 and $35. What do you guys think?

I can't seem to find any one that owns or wants to own a 101.
Seems to be very little info or interest in them. I have hear it was designed as a potted motor machine from the begining,
Kinda its only claim to fame.
In other words I have no idea what to pay. But I would love to hear and see all about it when you get it.

I think you're probably right on your price Caroline, *IF* the machine itself is in at least fair condition...
I wouldn't mind having a 101...but mostly just because I don't have one yet.

You are probably right on about the price. There isn't much information out there about the 101. I only have one because I wanted the cabinet it was in.
