Default Singer 201 bobbin winder problem

I have a 201-2 and when I wind a bobbin it starts rather slow and picks up speed as the bobbin fills and when it is full it speed up and when it trips the motor races. When I take off the bobbin the bobbin holder rod is very hot as well as is the motor on the back of the machine. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

We found the problem. My husband loosened the top screw that holds the bobbin winder on and now it works just fine.

Thank you, for letting us know what it was.
