Cari, thank you, I am on Digest and it took a while to get them, but after reading your post I went over and found them on the list, they were helpful and thanks for the heads up. I think I will be able to get this thing going after the great help here and there!

The large knob looking thing to the right of the singer motor info is a grease cup I think. At least mine was full of nasty grease which I cleaned and repacked with singer grease. It doesn't appear to have hurt it.
