I just watched the video. What a craftsman! That is way beyond anything I could ever do or attempt to do. Janome should be very proud of all this effort.

That's what you call a real "Stripper". I am surprised that he was able to put every spring and screw back in the right place. I wonder if anyone from Janome has seen this video. Makes me also wonder if he plans to use the machine himself or sell it What a fantastic job of restoration. Thanks for sharing.

Taking lots of photos as the parts come off for reference when reassembling! (At least that's what I would have done.)
