sorry, the link worked for me. It is a Singer, old but I don't know what year/model. It has a wooden carry case and an electric cord. There is a gold medallion on the front. She wants $40. She says it runs.

Check to see if it is all there and if it runs. Expect to clean, oil and adjust it.

The most likely reason the link doesn't work for most of us is that the person who originally posted it said friends only or something for the permissions. If it's from a group (like the Vintage Sewing Machine FB group) you need to be a member. I don't think it's that group though, because I am a member and should have been able to see it, unless the photo is just down now.

To add to Miriam's comments - check also that the electrical looks like it's intact - no cracks, bare wires, etc. It's not a deal killer, but would need to be rewired. If that's the case, then we can point you to pages that can help, or you can see if you can convince an electrician to do it for a meal or cash, etc.

The best thing to do would be to save the pic to your HD, then post it here. That way we don't have to fight through FB's systems.

I just logged into my wife's FB account and the pic wouldn't open. So it's probably friends only or down now.

There's a TON of sale groups in my area on FB. They are closed and you have to join but they are there.
And I have destashed fabric through a group on FB as well.
