    Default Singer 66 - knee to a foot control? case?

    Hello and thanks to all who have tried to help in the main thread.....! I am looking at a 1924 Singer 66 that has a knee control now...I am interested in converting it to a foot control machine - is it a matter of re wiring and what is the cost? What is a fair price for the machine? Also, it is in a cabinet and I would like to put it in a case for use on a table top....is the bentwood case the one that fits this machine? Thanks to all who may have had this experience!!! I am new to the board and so enjoy reading Quilting Board every morning!!!
