Default Singer late 1800s

I believe I have a singer from the late 1800s. Im having a hard time finding any information on it. I would like to see if I can get it working again. So all information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, Welcome aboard. We can help you out, but you need to give us some clues. Do you see a number plate by the base? Do you know if it has round or long bobbins? Can you post a picture?

As for cleaning up and using, the following are quite helpful.
How to Clean Up and use a vintage sewing machine - videos by Muv and Fav
Cleaning and Reviving furniture(Sewing cabinets)

Quite possibly an Improved Family which was the precursor to the 15 class machines with round bobbins. It might be a VS2 or 27 with long bobbins.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?
